Pipe Designing

  • In Pipe Designing Workshop we will cover the fundamental principles and concepts used in process plant layout and piping design. Upon completion of this course the participant will have a clear understanding of the design and engineering principles used in plant layout and piping design.Pipe Designing Workshop which provides a systematic development of skills and knowledge of Piping Design Engineer in line with international standards, this Pipe Design workshop covering in depth the design of process piping systems including process engineering, pipe stress analysis, detailed engineering etc. This Workshop is more concentrated on design calculation of piping sizing, pressure integrity, pipe stress analysis, pipe support, pump calculation.

    • Plant layout fundamentals and workflow procedures
    • Terminology and symbols used in plant layout
    • Plot plans, elevations, and 3-D models
    • Fundamental principles of chemical process technology
    • Process flow diagrams (PFDs)
    • Equipment used in process plants
    • Instrument symbols and abbreviations
    • Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P & IDs)

    • Terminology, symbols, and abbreviations used in piping design

    • Piping specifications and piping codes
    • Components of piping systems – fittings, Flanges and valves

  • This workshop does not include any hardware kit.

    • A working Laptop/PC in a group of 5 participants with minimum of 2 GB RAM, 100 GB HDD, intel i3+ processor
    • A Seminar Hall with sitting capacity of all participants along with charging plugs, proper ventilation
    • Projector, Color Mike, and Speakers

    1. Softcopy of PPTs and study material for all participants
    2. Certificate of Participation for every participant
    3. A competition will be organized at the end of the workshop and winners will be awarded by Certificate of Excellence and Coupon for Advance IoT Training.
    4. Kit will be given to a team of 5 participants
